On the flexibility of the curriculum:
The LLM Program, whilst lasting just a year, still gives enough to the students to work with. I particularly appreciate the fact that I am able to shape my own mode of study and could choose from an array of multi-disciplinary classes. That allowed me to be the master of my own schedule and develop it in a way so that I could maximize my experience both in the classroom and out. I am fascinated by the interactions between Professors and students in each and every classroom and enjoy observing the dynamic manner in which everyone ends up contributing to the classroom experience. It is interesting to see the diversity within a class but it is equally remarkable how the various places that we are from, at times, dictates the way a classroom debate shapes up. Discussing pertinent world issues, rallying ideas back and forth, agreeing heartily and sometimes disagreeing vehemently but all the while respecting each other and the opinions we have is truly something unique to Fletcher

Something that has surprised me about Fletcher:
I am always awestruck by the humility of our Professors and the way in which they handle the students. The open door policy and ease with which everyone interacts with each other is remarkable. It’s also great to see the returning students and the camaraderie they share and look amongst the incoming class and see the very same being replicated now. From reception to Program Advisors everyone wants to make the experience of the students one that they will remember and look back upon with a sense of pride.
