Helpful Course Information

Course Selections
  • Credit
Classes begin Wednesday, September 3, 2014; this is also the first day to register for classes. The deadline for making final course selections is Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:59 PM, a stroke before Midnight. There is no pre-registration at The Fletcher School. During the first week of the term you will “shop” for classes and register via the Tufts University Integrated Student Information System, iSIS. Directions for registering for your courses and navigating iSIS will be provided in the Orientation Packet that you will receive at the Fall 2014 Orientation program.

Note: Tuesday, September 2, 2014, the day before the official start of Fletcher classes, is Shopping Day, where you will be able to learn more about once-a-week courses, courses new to the Fletcher curriculum, and courses taught by new full-time or adjunct instructors. You are also encouraged to review the past Course Evaluations submitted by students that are available in the reference room of Ginn Library.
  • Faculty Office Hours
All Faculty members have specified office hours that are posted on their office doors during the first two weeks of classes. Students must consult with Faculty Advisors and are also encouraged to consult with other members of the faculty and administration with regard to their course program.

Course Descriptions
  • The Course Descriptions and the Divisions sections of the Fletcher website will be updated for next year in August, and the online version of the 2014-2015 Fletcher Bulletin will be available in August. In the meantime, you may review the 2013-2014 Fletcher Bulletin to get a general idea about Fletcher's course offerings. Faculty biographies are also featured in the Fletcher Bulletin, as well as via the Faculty Research Profiles section of the Fletcher website.
