Why I chose Fletcher: After studying Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and working for several years as a Management Consultant, I was looking for a specific program that would combine Business Administration and International Affairs. Therefore, I was happy when a friend recommended the Master of International Business (MIB) program. Fletcher has a strong focus on connecting academics with practice, and it offers its students a great international network through international students, and a strong alumni network. Also, a key factor about my decision to attend Fletcher is my ability to combine my subjects of interest with a regional specialization.
Community Collaboration: From the very start, there was a strong community feeling, especially amongst the MIB students who arrived on campus two weeks before everyone else to complete a pre-session course. The students come from all over the world with diverse backgrounds, and instantly everyone was open to work and collaborate with each other. This happens not only during or in preparation for classes, but also in student clubs, sports, or student parties. Professors, as well as alumni, are very open and supportive and can be easily approached.
