On Fletcher alumni: One of the key factors that makes Fletcher very strong is the alumni network. Fletcher alumni are a pool of smart and accomplished people all over the world who welcome questions and provide advice and guidance related to career options to current students. I believe that this sense of community amongst students and alumni all over the world will make me feel comfortable throughout my years at Fletcher and after I graduate.

On how Fletcher has broadened my global perspective: Living in a different country and being a part of the diverse community at The Fletcher School has broadened my global perspective. Although I have been abroad several times, I spent all my life in Turkey and have associated mostly with Turkish people. I believe that building and maintaining strong relationships with people of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints is the key to success in today’s globalized world. In this regard, I’m glad to see that in every context, we have the chance to learn from the experiences of our classmates from various countries and professional backgrounds.
