We hope a distinctive feature of the IFDT meeting will be a strong emphasis on informed discussion with maximum participationof all in attendance. Each session will be introduced by a few presentations of no more than 7-8 minutes each, followed by discussion. We ask panelists to make a few key, perhaps even provocative, points in their initial comments. We ask panelists not to use any audiovisual facilities (e.g., PowerPoint) in order to reinforce the effort at maximum interaction between panelists and meeting participants. The IFDT rapporteur will produce a summary report after the meeting.
