Why do we need an International Business Club?
The Fletcher community has a long and treasured past in the study and practice of international affairs. Today, business and international affairs are more interconnected than ever. As such, it is critical that private sector-focused students have a voice as advocates within the community. It is equally important for the broader student body to be exposed to business sector practices and opportunities in local, national, and international contexts.
What are the objectives of the International Business Club?
- Develop skills necessary to succeed in the private sector
- Establish, strengthen, and leverage networks of business-interested students at the local, national, and international level
- Raise the profile of international business at Fletcher
- Inform and connect IBC members about opportunities to develop networks and build skills at Fletcher, the broader Tufts community and beyond
Long Term vision
Fletcher recognized as a leader in contextual and international business education. Have a committed corporate sponsor, which will enable the funding or subsidization of local, national, and international personal and professional development opportunities.
