GMAP students working on MacBooks
GMAP provides all the technology tools students need to succeed in the program.
- A laptop computer with Microsoft Office
- Our learning platform for Web and mobile
- Video lectures for streaming and download
- Access to all Tufts University library databases and e-journals
At the heart of the GMAP program are our online discussion boards. These boards allow students and professors to continue the conversation and learning that began during the residencies. We designed the platform to facilitate these discussions, and bring the GMAP and Fletcher experience to you wherever you are.
Platform independent and mobile-compatible, the GMAP system allows students to complete coursework while continuing to work and travel. It also allows you to download all video lectures and readings, so you can access materials even without a reliable Internet connection.
We know busy, mid-career students have different technology needs than on-campus students. To meet these needs, the program has a dedicated technology staff just for our GMAP students. During the residencies, our staff helps students master the skills necessary to complete the program. And throughout the program, they provide support as needed. The GMAP Tech Team is dedicated to taking care of your technology needs, so you can focus on getting the most out of your GMAP year.
