Fellowships

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT DIPLOMACY AND GOVERNANCE FELLOWSHIP

For students specifically interested in sustainable development diplomacy and governance issues, a Fellowship established by the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture, and Innovation (EL&I) is available. EL&I will support 1-2 Fletcher students who have a demonstrated interest in sustainable development diplomacy and governance issues.

Please contact Mieke van der Wansem, CIERP Associate Director (mieke.wansem@tufts.edu), for application instructions and deadlines.

Internships

Each summer, CIERP sponsors approximately 2-3 students to pursue an internship related to environment and/or resource issues.

CIERP students are encouraged to do an internship during the summer after their first year of study at Fletcher. The CIERP program works continuously to develop internship relationships with public, private and non-profit environmental organizations. Additionally, the CIERP office works with students to match their interests with an appropriate research, policy, and/or field experience. Many students draw from their internship to formulate the subject and proposal development of their MALD thesis.
