International Trade & Commercial Policies

Most students choose to pursue summer internships in their fields of interest. Select student internships include:

Organization of American States/International Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) San Salvador, El Salvador
"The internship was a huge challenge, but I learned an immense amount about how trade and development policies actually work on the ground. I carried out a review of El Salvador's macroeconomic, trade, and development policies as part of a regional OAS assessment of the impact of federal policies on the rural sector in Latin America. The work involved interviews with ministry officials, NGOs, and rural communities, as well as significant primary document research."

US Liaison Office to the African Development Bank
Tunis, Tunisia

"My internships allowed me to conduct research on commercial opportunities in Africa."
